Ministries

Our Church Services:

Each Sunday we have two Worship Services. The first one commences at 9:30 am and the second one at 5:00 pm. During the service we sing Psalms and Hymn as well as Scripture Songs and we listen to an exposion of the Scriptures usually with a practical application for our daily life.

Also every two months we celebrate the Lord’s Supper (Communion) during the morning service. Visitors are advised that taking part of the Lord’s Supper is usually for communicant members. Visitors who are in communicant membership of their own church may take part after making themselves known to the Elder at the door.

Parking:

Parking is provided in the Church’s parking area adjacent to the hall at the rear of the church. The entrance to the Carpark is from 85 Frangipani Street.

Sunday School:

Our Sunday School program caters for preschool and primary school aged children. We meet at 9:15 a.m. on Sunday morning during school terms. We also run  a program for preschool children every Sunday morning and provide a crèche during the morning worship service. The children learn about what the Bible says, pray to God and sing songs. We also enjoy craft, games and puzzles. At around 9:45 a.m. the school aged children join the adults for the second part of the morning service. For further information, please email Sylvia de Jongh on sschool@inalacrc.org.au

GEMS:

jump

This is a ministry for girls in Grades 1-9, aiming to bring girls into a living relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. Activities include Bible study, craft, games and learning practical skills. GEMS is held every second Friday evening during school terms, from 7-9 p.m. at the Tivoli CRC. For more information, please contact Marisa Strasser at gems@tivolicrc.org.au

Bible Studies:

Biblestudy

There are two Bible study groups meeting fortnightly at the Church on Wednesday mornings and one on Friday evenings. All are welcome to come and join us in studying God’s word. If you would like more information on when the various groups meet, please contact Adrian de Bruyn or Peter Schmitt.

FORGE (Fellowship of Reformed Girls Events):

FORGE is a time when the women and young ladies of our congregation meet together for a time of fellowship and fun. We meet approximately every 6 weeks for a couple of hours, usually on a Saturday. During this time we enjoy an activity such as playing games, doing a craft, watching a movie or going out for a trip, making time for a cuppa and something nice to eat. We usually have a short reading from the Bible and pray together for the things that are close to our hearts. We love having visitors and would welcome anyone who would like to join us. For more information, please contact Sylvia De Jongh at sschool@inalacrc.org.au

Art & Craft:

Art and craft classes are held once a fortnight on Wednesday mornings, starting at 9:30 a.m. and are open to all. We learn drawing and painting in oils/acrylics. Craft sessions include things like card-making, rice-paper decoupage, beading, china painting, pictures on canvas, and candle making. For more information, please contact ………………… at craft@inalacrc.org.au
